What Is De-Branding

De-branding basically means removing awful operator firmware, and replacing it with the manufacturers original firmware. Hence converting your phone to the full spec as it was intended by the manufacturer.

How do we De-branding phones ?

we have the necessary tools and latest mobile firmware's (software flash files) to enable us to flash the software in your phone. This deletes and replaces the existing operator's software with the original and unrestricted, unbranded manufacturers software.

What are the benefits of De-branding ?

Once your mobile has been de-branded, you will notice all the menu systems are clearer, unrestricted, and often faster too. We also use the latest firmware to date, which will have improvements on your old firmware. This often removes any software glitches that your phone previously had. Some network firmware's prevent you uploading ringtones & pictures via cable, or manually setting your internet home page.

When a phone has been unlocked you may find buttons & functions do not operate correctly when used with other sim cards from other networks then we offer a De-branding service. Shown in the picture on the left is a Nokia N95 Vodafone branded and as you can see the menu has a selection of Vodafone options if you did have an Orange sim card in the handset and selected one of these options (highlighted in yellow) then it would not function. Once De-branded these menus would not appear and would be replaced with standard Nokia menus.
